The Awards - 2003 Prize Night

Awards are normally presented to club members at the annual presentation night, where all members are invited to meet for a fun social occasion, dance and dine, and applaud the various award winners.

Awards are presented to paddlers of all ages and abilities for outstanding performances during the course of the year. Some performances, efforts and demonstrations of skill are genuinely acknowledged. There are some occasions of note where paddlers would prefer to forget their not-so-outstanding performance, so it is the committee's duty to publicly acknowledge these occasions and drag the skeletons out of the cupboard!
