Sunday 4th April - International Canoe Exhibition NEC.
What a day. It's a good job I didn't take my money - some good stuff there.
Saturday 10th April - Its My Birthday.Today we started the paddling year off down at Chatburn Water with our Easter Eggstravaganza
Sunday 11th April - Oooooerrr. I don't think I'm ever so bothered with Easter. But it is Euan & Ruth's wedding today. Bless them. Easter Eggstravagnza followed by a booze up at the Stirk House. Good Job.

The Found Trophy
Euan & Ruth Douglas

Who married during the course of the year. They found each other.

Sunday 9th May - North West Weekend Teesside. It's a shame I didn't manage to get there yesterday. What a fine set up it is. What a great day it was. Had a few runs round the course. Well, when I say I had a few runs round the course, what I mean is I had a few runs round most of the course. I made it as far as the acid drop a couple of times, but I don't think acid drops agree with me.

The Flying Paddle
The Kemp Family

The Kemp children who showed great skill, passing

their star tests at Teesside, and astounded coaches as they passed by on their way down the course.
Saturday 29th May - What a day, what a good job. We had an open day today. Even the Mayor came. A hundred and twenty two if he's a day, and he brought his missus. He even had a go in a kayak, well he sat in one.

Gogo Gadget Award
Jonny Noblett

For his fantastic effort with the CCC Chronicles 2004.

Sunday 4th July Independence Day Paddle Party - What a good day. I say what a good day. Them Brookbank lads did us a treat. Oh I had a go in a few of those boats. Too bloomin small most of them, like paddling a saucer. Not like my big barge. I'm happy with what I've got, but I wouldn't mind a new boat. A new Paddle wouldn't come a miss either.

Half The Paddle Twice the Paddler Award
Robert Anderson

Normally given for open's however, this is for Roberts mastery of the C1 as seen on the club's DVD.

Saturday 16th October - Dear diary, I'm writing this early today because I'm going out tonight. It was Euan's 40th birthday yesterday, so he's having a candlelit supper tonight Had a grand day today bit of a paddle at Chatburn this afternoon, but wait for it dear diary, I'm off to Welsh Wales tomorrow. Mr Chairman's picking me up first thing, we're off to Treweryn. Grand Job.
Monday 18th October - Oooooh. I am ashamed, dear diary. I am ashamed. Mr. Chairman came round yesterday morning at 7 O'Clock as arranged, unfortunately, I'm not sure I came round at all yesterday. I left Euan's party at 3 O'Clock yesterday morning, it was a great party…….I think. I should have known better. Anyway, dear diary I was still asleep on the scullery floor when I heard Mr. Chairman banging on the door. I made it to the garage in Preston, lucky he needed petrol. Four times I'm afraid we had to stop on the way to Wales. There was no way I could paddle, I even felt queezy watching them paddle. I spent the morning sat on the floor in the corner of the café, The afternoon was slightly more comfortable, sat in Mr Chairman's car. What a plonker I am.
