North West Weekend 2005

The BCU North West Regional Weekend has over the last few years earned a reputation as the highlight of the regions paddling calendar. We hope that you will find this year's event will be no an excellent opportunity to enjoy our sport in a relaxed and friendly environment with like-minded people of all ages.

Following the tremendous success of previous year's events it has been decided the format should remain - as much as possible - the same.

There will a series of competitions on the Saturday and Sunday there will be coaching sessions on the Sunday. Or on either day simply enjoy the facilities offered by the whitewater centre.

All paddlers from the North West, Cumbria, Yorkshire, and Northern regions are invited to take part, and groups from clubs such as yours will be made particularly welcome. In addition, with the change of location to the Nene we also expect to be joined by paddlers local to the Nene.
